I've got letters from people I shouldn't have. They wouldn't sound right in another voice. I like to pretend that they can make me who I am. They only remind me of what hasn't changed.
I can't remember the last time I let something go. I only ever forget all the things that I should hold and the weight of all these trinkets is beginning to take its toll. It weighs me down.
You can't remember, but I just can't forget.
